Dear Hiring Manager,

Please accept my resume for your review and allow me to briefly explain the positive qualities I can bring to your department. My resume contains the specifics regarding my education and technical competencies; as a result, I will not need to go into detail here about these particular items. Instead, I would like to point out a few of my qualities not covered on the resume that I would contribute to help your department meet its objectives.

Enthusiastic attitude – I truly enjoy inherent challenges in an ever-changing field. That being said, I will look forward to critical thinking and finding solutions to these challenges.

Highly focused work ethic – I maintain a strong focus on “getting the job done right” in a field where more often than not, there can be very little to no room for error.

Energetic and optimistic personality – I tend to believe that there is always a solution even when the circumstances seem otherwise. I feel that optimism drives me to go farther than the average person.

Strong leadership capabilities – I possess excellent leadership skills, which stem from previous employment opportunities and extra-curricular involvement. Organizations and departments today need more than just average employees to ensure the success of high-priority goals.

Moreover, government departments and officials, along with the private sector, require individuals who can master a wide-variety of abilities and skill sets. I am the

type of person who would bring this balance of proficiencies to help your department accomplish success.

I am available immediately for a personal interview and offer you proficiency, dedication, and strong work ethic. Thank you for your time and consideration, and I look forward to having the opportunity to meet with you.

Sincerely,

Chantel Rene’ Henson Enclosure
