QUALIFICATIONS

I have excellent leadership skills and education needed to be a successful Sr. Security Spec 2 for which you advertised. As a Forensic case manager and a Security officer, over the years, I have had to comply with detailed procedures and had to have interpersonal skills to successfully communicate and do what was needed for my clients. My experience required me to adhere to strict procedures and comply to government laws. Adherence to strict deadlines are a must in case management, so I understand timeliness of an investigation and completion of reporting. As a social worker and counselor, I have had background searches and am able to obtain a security clearance with the Department of Defense.

Unarmed Security Guard – Ballad Health

January 2021- present

Duties Included: The Security Department acts as a hospital agent in maintaining public order through visible patrols, response to emergencies, public liaison, and documenting occurrences and actively ensuring the safety of all is a priority. The Security Officer also performs other tasks as directed by the Captain, OIC, Corporate Director of Safety and Security Services, or Vice President of Facilities and Construction. Security Officer will reduce the opportunity for crime or loss. This individual will assist outside agencies in mitigating risk and investigating crimes and incidents. The Officer will perform their roles and responsibilities, as appropriate, as defined in the Ballad Emergency Operations Plans and subsequent Codes in the event of an environmental emergency or disaster.

March 2019- April 2020

Duties Included: Forensic case manager - worked in correctional settings with mental health service providers and social services workers to oversee the development of prisoners. Worked with prisoners to obtain a plan after release. Processed discharge procedures and aided prisoners after release. Determined inmates risk factors and identified ways for the inmates to overcome those risk factors and develop corrective actions to reduce the likelihood of recidivism. Duties included: Investigation of accidents and rules infractions, transported residents, secured premises and buildings, monitored for safety hazards, greeted guests, and answered telephones.
