1997-Worked as owner’s rep. For MWAA (Metropolitan Washington Airport
Authority) in completing (inspections, evaluating / negotiating change
orders, assisting in check out of distributive control system, etc) $25,000,000
new boiler/chiller plant for National Airport. Project included 1.5 miles
of h.p. steam/condensate in tunnel, 6 new 2000 ton chillers, etc.
1996-Worked with various Government Agencies negotiating change orders and
mediating claims on several large projects-World Bank expansion
($350,000,000), new Federal Courthouse ($65,000,000), etc.
1995-Prepared claim for Mechanical Contractor on large V.A.. hospital in
Baltimore, MD
1994-Completed 8 projects for Surety in Boston on behalf of bankrupt
Mechanical Contractor- projects ranged from a $50,000 plumbing
renovation to a $2,500,000 process piping contract on the prototype plant
for the Deer Island (Boston harbor) waste water treatment project.
1993-Defended $30,000,000 claim for rigging contractor at large polypropylene
manufacturing facility in Marcus Hook, PA.
1992-Functioned as Director of Construction for $25,000,000 Mechanical
Contractor in Washington, DC area. Set up integrated Job Cost/Accounting
computer system, initiated policy & procedure manual, started training
programs for PMs & Supts, ran day-to-day construction operations.

process piping project and assisted in negotiating successful settlement.
1990-“Team leader” for Surety on defaulted contractor projects in New Jersey-12
projects & over 15 million uncompleted work.
1989-Prepared “Request For Equitable Adjustment” on behalf of Surety for
bankrupt contractor on a coal fired power plant in New York City-
alleging “wrongful termination”and extended performance costs-
negotiated settlement.
1988 Contractor declared bankruptcy with $80,000,000 uncompleted
work. Performed “cost-to-complete”, prepared completion contracts, audited Accounting records,
monitored completion progress, negotiated “payment bond” claims.

1986-Construction Manager, paper machine rebuild project, Chesapeake
Corp, West Point, VA-responsible for day-to-day monitoring of 5 mechanical piping projects
(totaling over 9 million dollars) for a 6 month paper machine rebuild,
insuring “isos” were correct, pipe delivered per schedule, interpret
“changed conditions” on daily basis (the penalty for late turnover was
$250,000 per day), negotiate change orders
