Félicien is a medical doctor with more than 12 years in the medical career with proven experience in clinical, public health, resource management (human, financial and material) and project management especially health (SRH / FP, GBV, Nutrition, Malaria, Health System Strengthening, Health emergencies and Disaster Management, etc.) and Monitoring and evaluation. He holds a degree in General Medicine, a Master of Public Health and a Master’s degree in International Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid.

II.COMPETENCES

1.Teamwork and people management: Team leader at 6 times as CoP and Provincial Coordinator in Christian Aid, Provincial Coordinator in Pathfinder International, Health district manager in Kayanza and Kirundo and Kirundo director of Kirundo. I line managed over 30 direct reports.

III.PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Christian Aid Burundi (Consortium Christian Aid-COPED-Action Aid International Burundi) March 2023 to present.

Chief of Party of the Project relating to Early Childhood and Demographic Control " NKURIZA Project”.

Provide overall management, strategic direction, and technical leadership to the project to achieve expected project results within budget and timeframe.

Effective project management in liaison with implementing partners ensuring quality controls, accountability and compliance under the cooperation agreement, Donor rules and regulations and Christian Aid policy and procedure for all project tasks.

Effective risk management, including the proactive identification of all risks, problems and capability gaps, and their effective management or the search for solutions.

Successful representation of Christian Aid and the best interests of the project to representatives of the government, other partners and the Donor in Burundi.

Represent the project in all technical, policy, and programmatic fora at all levels (country, national, and international).

Effective human resource management by ensuring that highly qualified personnel are recruited, properly integrated, empowered to provide leadership and make decisions within a team, and managed effectively to achieve a high level of performance and achieve its objectives.
