Regional Property Manager

I am a regional property manager overseeing a team of 5 property managers who manage a portfolio of 28 HOA communities that contains about 2,000 doors. I also oversee the after-hours emergency call system 24/7, to provide rapid response to homeowner’s emergency needs. I am the property manager for the largest HOA community in our company’s portfolio, which is 600 units.

Manage Finances

Solicit competitive bids from vendors so HOAs can get the best value for their money.

Oversee quality control so that services meet the community's standards, preserving reputation and property values.

Manage costs by optimizing vendor expenses so the HOA can reduce fees for residents while maintaining service quality, making the community more attractive.

Act as a point of contact to streamline communication and administrative tasks, freeing up HOA board members' time to focus on community improvements.

Handle compliance and legal matters, certifying that vendors comply with regulations and insurance requirements to protect the HOA from legal and liability issues.

Respond to emergencies through established vendor relationships to prevent further damage during crises.

Reduce Risk

Complete Administrative Office Duties

Assist HOA with budgeting.

Coordinate board meetings and document meeting minutes.

Plan agendas and events when necessary.

Oversee Sites

Manage bulk trash and yard maintenance requests.

Ensure that large playgrounds or outdoor equipment are correctly stored and common and recreational centers are appropriately tended to.

Regulate vendors to confirm that maintenance requests and contract jobs are accurately completed.

Keep an open line of communication with residents.

Act as the liaison between residents and the HOA board to address concerns, share information, and foster a harmonious community environment.

Establish transparent and efficient communication.

Guide the board to disseminate important details, updates, and notices to residents, and inform them about community news, rules, and upcoming events.

Directly responsible for property maintenance and renovations of 1200+ units in Hudson County NJ

Worked directly with tenants to input work order requests and resolve property maintenance concerns.

Worked with multiple contractors to bid on construction and maintenance projects to negotiate ideal pricing.

Submitted and processed contractor invoices for timely release of payment

Performed monthly inspections of vacated properties and determined if property damage would result in a chargeback from the security deposits.
