Responsible for managing a first class project management office (PMO) from receipt of the RFQ thru the successful execution of multimillion-dollar valve automation projects.

• Lead a 20 member PMO team consisting project managers, application specialists and documentation specialists. Member on the COE leadership team in Houston Texas.

• As a member of the transition team, I worked with Emerson and Pentair leadership to allow a smooth and uninterrupted service to our clients during the Emerson acquisition of Pentair

Pentair Valves and Controls (Acquired by Emerson-04/2017) Manager of the North America Projects Team 11/2013 to 04/2017 Responsible for developing, maintaining and leading a first-class project management office

(PMO) from quotations thru execution of multimillion dollar valve automation projects.

• Lead the PMO by providing proposal and execution support for major EPC and end-user accounts.

• The standards developed are considered best practices within Pentair V&C and due positive feedback of multiple clients, these standards were then presented to major EPCs’ as

“Pentair Project Team Value add Proposition” which aided in landing additional large projects.

• Team resource accountability; (9) Inside Sales, (16) Project Managers and (6) Documentation Specialist. With teams located in Houston Texas, Bolingbrook Illinois, Edmonton Canada and Stafford Texas.

• Towards a global implantation effort, the project team value add proposition was presented to the leadership within Pentair and utilized in three global Kaizen events pertaining to project management, global proposal offering, and bid management.

• By means of controlled reorganizational efforts and standards implementation, there was a reduction of resources by 14%, proposal volume increased by 90% and bookings increased 98%.
