Agile Coach for 7 software development teams and the vertical business units tied to same. Also day-to-day Scrum Master for 3 of those teams one of which practices an Agile/Waterfall hybrid process.

Established foundational agile practices including agile events, story sizing, using metrics to track progress and implementing an organized work intake process. Lead a series of agile training programs for all levels of the organization. Worked with Directors to create standard Sprint Reports for development teams to show progress and issues after each sprint.

Agile Coach & RTE, Wells Fargo Bank (Remote) Jan 2022-May 2022

Coached 10 software development teams relative to their transition to agile including establishing guardrails to allow for consistent fundamentals across teams while allowing the flexibility to craft the optimal solutions for each team. Served as RTE.

Identified areas for improvement through comprehensive team self-assessments and worked with each team to prioritize and create a workplan to implement improved procedures. Led the implementation of a series of metrics by each team to identify areas for improvement and to track progress.

As both an Agile Coach and a Scrum Mater I was one of the leaders of the agile transformation of a software development division that includes 115 Developers and QA’ers spread over 12 different Dev. teams, with 20 PO’s & PM’s that create and maintain software for over 30,000 internal users.

We took teams whose only Agile practice was daily meetings to fully functional Scrum Teams. After regular agile training and retrospective evaluations, teams were able to reduce escaped defects by 20%, increased velocity by 17% and significantly increased NPS scores. Orientated and trained 4 new Scrum Masters.

Led the group responsible for marketing and running GE Aviation’s participation at international air shows through a complete agile transformation utilizing a Kanban model which facilitated the tracking of tasks internationally. Also coached a manufacturing R&D group through a transition to an agile working model that accompanied their process improvement efforts.

My teams heavily utilized metrics to both track teams’ progress and to identify areas for improvement. Worked with teams to increase interaction with users and stakeholders.
