Oversight of admitting and registration for inpatient and outpatient services, personnel resource management, quality of service, process analysis and improvement for the admitting/registration departments. Served as the Clinic/Practice Manager for Orthopedic Services at the National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda Maryland. Supervised 23 physicians, 6 nurses, 12 technicians, and 5 administrative personnel seeing approximately 1400 clinic visits and 150 operating room cases per month. Duties include management of daily clinic operations, meeting command educational and performance goals, managing human, capital, material and information resources within the Service, and complying with command Business Rules. Directly responsible for supply/logistics reconciliation for Durable Medical Equipment to include liaison with all company representatives. Responsible for networking with other hospital services to ensure exchange of information and resources to increase quality patient care. Acts as customer advocate for service ensuring work and patient environment is free from harassment and hostility. Prepares/endorses official reports, chits, and requests. Responsible for accurate and timely data collection and administrative record keeping.

March 1993-May 2000 UNITED STATES NAVY

Staff Corpsman for Orthopedic and Podiatry clinics, which included both outpatient clinical services as well as same day surgery cases. Duties included daily operational management, customer relations, supply, safety, training, and risk management.

Office Administrator for the Operations and Plans Department for the Navy at the Second Marine Division to include extensive experience with classified materials and classified materials briefings. Secret level security clearance held.
