Abel comes from three generations of Builders; Received an Associates in Arts degree from Miami-Dade Community College in 1975 and a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Miami in 1977.

While in High School and prior to1972, Abel received his General Contractor’s License and began active saltus in 1975. He received his Architectural License in March 11, 1982, and began practicing in both the Design & Construction industries combining both practices into a new field called "Design-Build". Prior to establishing Architectus, Abel was president and C.E.O. of Archi-Build and Archi-Build Internationally, both Design-Build Companies providing service domestically and abroad. Prior to establishing his solely owned business in 1982, Abel received extensive background experience associated with various construction and architectural firms; listed herein. Architectus Construction, Inc. was founded in October 26,1990. Architectus, is Latin for, "Professionals engaged in planning, devising, and creating within the scope of Architecture and Construction"; it's what we do best.
