Developed, delivered, and deployed 6000 wireless (Switching, TDMA, CDMA, GSM, and UMTS), wireline, and optical projects in 60 months to 75 different cities across the U.S. Directed the development of a pre-staging area to ensure 100 percent product delivery and pre-assembly to shorten the project interval. Developed and implemented a “Self-Cloning Tiger Team” approach. The projects were completed early, below budget, and the customers were placed in a catch-up position for the turn-up of their networks. The method used in this project became the standard for network implementation throughout the company and was applied to other teams as well.

Established a project leadership team to deliver products at 50 percent of the standard interval. Directed weekly reviews including customer, sales, external vendors, engineering, and logistics starting upon receipt of order and request for reduced interval through completion of the project. Developed and presented a project review for all employees and contractors working on the project. The first order was completed on the reduced interval and delivered the projects at 38 percent below implementation-estimated cost.

Directed all support activities to facilitate contract implementation. Areas of support included workload forecasting, staffing, resource acquisition, creating budgets, financial analysis, warehouse operations, and supply chain performance measurement and analysis.

Led timely investigation into the cause and impact of an employee-caused outage in the customer’s network. Delivered the outcome of the investigation to the customer within a 4-hour window and retrained or disciplined the employee. The project was kept on track and under budget.

Developed and conducted a series of employee information sessions to ensure that all employees understood the organization, the leadership, and their roles. Conducted mini-seminars in conjunction with the quality process team to ensure a higher level of understanding of all requirements. These actions were taken due to a drop in quality achievement for a rapidly growing organization. The results were an overall quality improvement of 55 percent by the team in 12 months.
