Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for ensuring full compliance of procedures, policies and statutory regulations on all financial matters for Development Partners and Government funds.

• Producing appropriate Financial reports for Donor funded projects & Government.

• Attending to all taxation issues on all Development Partners and Government.

• Monitor budget versus expenditure for Development Partners as well as Government funds. Coordinate and Facilitate the audits of the Development Partners and Appropriation Accounts as per contractual agreement.

• Overseeing Accounting Assistants financial records keeping for Development Partners include United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Transparency Responsiveness Accountability and Citizenship Engagement (TRACE), Roul Wallenberg Institute (RWI) and German Corporation for International Cooperation

(GIZ).

• Processing payments through SAP and Business Online.

• Executing Reconciliations.

Position: Accountant Assistant (2018 - 2019)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Preparation of Donor project budgets and proposal for Development Partners.

• Preparation of grants and project financial reports in Pastel for accurate donor expenditure reporting and reconciliations.

• Performing bank reconciliations, general ledger reconciliations and cash requests from Development Partners ensuring that financial resources are utilized and invested efficiently.

• Ensuring payment requests and other documents completeness and adherence to ZHRC, Government and Development Partners policies and procedures.
