Work Experience

Material Handler/Production

Newell Rubbermaid - Mogadore, OH

April 2020 to April 2021

I started at Rubbermaid as a Production line worker. I was responsible for working and consistently putting a set quantity of lids or bowls into corresponding box, for finished production. Accuracy we favorite over speed because it ensured that each box was properly handled with right amount of material. I then went up to Material Handler, and I was responsible for taking finished products off of the finished production rollers, scan them into the correct trailers to be sent out to the corresponding branches of the product. I had experience of the stand up forklift already, which made my job a lot easier to do. Was also responsible for keeping my area cleaned and making sure my lines had enough pallets to keep production ongoing.

Jaynor Pot - Mogadore, OH

Loader/Unloader

Famous Supply - Sebring, OH

March 2018 to May 2019

While employed thru Famous Supply, my position was Loader/Unloader. My responsibilities were to safely and efficiently operate motor vehicles, including Dock Trucks, Forklifts, Pallet Trucks, Order Pickers, Scanners, and Clamp Trucks. Loading and Unloading trucks that varied in size from box trucks to flat bed trucks. My primary responsibility was to consolidate one of many lanes/branches onto pallets. These lanes/branches varied on how much product they held, from 25 to 300 products. Also varying in size from boxes to Centra Lair units.I also have experience in receiving manifests that have a list of products printed on them, and retrieving the products using an Order picker or Pallet truck. If product matches print on the manifest, I would scan the item/product, and scan the location it was in and load the product onto either a box truck or flat bed truck.

Polish and Deburr

HP Products - Louisville, OH

April 2015 to October 2016

During my employment with HP Products, my responsibilities were to receive a manifest with printed material and product. I would then go on to scan the manifest of printed products. The product were usually stored in caged bins that could hold up to 1 ton of aluminum, steel, or iron parts. These parts ranged from pipe fittings that had jagged edges or had metal shavings on the edges on them that had to smoothed out and polished for a clean shine. I also worked with pipe and tubes that were dented and/or warped, and had to be buffed using a machine that used spinning belts to create friction around a pipe or tube and would smooth all dents and warped sections on the pipe/tube. Also the edge of some tubing had a lip that stuck up from the edge that had to be grinded down using a method called deburring. It required a device that used sand paper like pads and spun at approximately 1400 rotations per minute. This was my primary device for most of my shift. Torwards the end of my shift, I was responsible for sweeping, and re-stocking my work area. This included replacing any used deburr pads, and/or reequipping an air pressure hose for my work area for shift change.
