Being a stay at home mom since

rare kidney decease I was only
able to work part time due to
many trips to hospitals out of
state for treatments and
surgeries my child needed. This
explains short times with
companies as my schedule could
not meet company needs. I
worked when my schedule
slowed down from hospital trips.
As my child grew her health
improved.
Since the shut down with the
pandemic I decided to take care
of my health and at the same
time return to college and get my
degree in medical billing and
coding. With many family
members in the medical field
(Surgeons,RNs and CRNAs )I
decided to go into medical billing
and coding. Having pulmonary
embolisms at the end of 2019
needed to change my lifestyle.
Nine surgeries later,with losing
218 pounds I started school with
Penn Foster and graduated this
past June. Took my NHA exams
and was certified as a CBCS. I
continue to work hard for my
health and am eager to work
even harder in the medical
