Subject: Welding Leadership

As the weld engineer at INTEC for many years and CWI Welding SME I have had the opportunity to work with several Welding Foreman. Welding is a highly skilled craft as you know. In the past we have had foreman who had previous experience as welders as well as foreman with only incidental experience with welding. Invariably the welding activities were performed more efficiently and with greater attention to the applicable welding codes when an experienced foreman with welding background managed the activities. I hope that Vic Pires continues to be involved in managing the welding activities for CWI as he clearly has the extensive background experience as a welder that I believe is required to efficiently run a weld shop.

To Whom it May Concern,

It is my pleasure to provide this letter of recommendation for Victor Pires. I have been associated with Victor for the past several years as a Co-Worker, Work Control Manager and Maintenance Manager.

As a Work Control Planner, he has consistently provided outstanding documentation to the various maintenance teams and customers that he supports. Victor ensures that all aspects of the hazards/mitigation process have been thoroughly discussed with he and his co-workers prior to finalizing the documentation, ensures all required materials and components are identified, procured and received, and compiles the most current drawings and vendor data into each work order assigned to him. The knowledge and experience that Victor has acquired throughout his career in the mechanical and fabrication fields is very beneficial to his customers and co-workers.

Victor’s analytical and organizational skills have enabled him to be consistently recognized as one of the top performers. If his performance throughout the years is a good indication, I feel he would be an extremely positive asset to any organization that he is associated with.

If I can be of any further assistance, or provide you with any additional information, please do not hesitate to contact me at the email address listed above.

Sincerely,

Bryan L. Sanders

Subject: Victor Pires phenomenal Support

Harvey,

I need to let you know I appreciate all that Vic did this past Thursday… He really stepped up to the plate and accomplished potentially impossible activities rallying the team to get WO 653359 RTW for the weekend.

I called Thursday morning with a request to complete this WO so it could be worked over the weekend. He was able to rally support of others and obtain signatures to complete this WO. This included interpersonal communication via direct conversations, phone calls, and emails with a wide variety of individuals and groups to pull it all together.

Thank you again for allowing me the privileged to work with Vic.

Sincerely,

John S.
