Maintenance Supervisor

October 2011 through January 2018 – Mr. Hoyt was the Maintenance Supervisor at Residential at Lerner Morningside Community. The communities consisted of Morningside a 605 unit apartment community built in 1962 and the Towers at Morningside a 174 unit apartment community, 8 story high-rise built in 1968. The two properties totaled 779 units. He supervised 11 team members, 8 maintenance technicians, 1 painter and 2 boiler engineers. His duties included but were not limited to overseeing all service requests, scheduling and overseeing completion of all make ready, scheduling and supervising contractors and maintenance inventory. During his tenure, Mr. Hoyt was in charge of the major renovations and system overhauls, he oversaw the four year renovations of the complete electrical systems, which included replacement of 13 transformers, new meter panels, new breaker panels, and all connecting devices. In addition, he oversaw the contractors involved in the installation of washers and dryers in all units, which included drywall, plumbing and electrical renovations.

Mr. Hoyt also worked directly with the Director of Operations taking on and completing special assignments as needed throughout the Lerner portfolio.

April 2006 to October 2011 – Mr. Hoyt started as an Assistance Supervisor/Make Readies at Morningside. He was promoted to Maintenance July 2006 and performed the same Maintenance Supervisor duties listed above for Arrowood Apartment located in Vienna, VA which was a 300 unit community built in 1978.
