Implementing process control from "Value Stream Mapping" and "Lean Flow, " increased production by 23% - 27% in 12 of the 24 existing production plants over a 12 month period. This entails a newly installed non- rotating shift schedule that allows the plants to work 24-7, 364 with little to no overtime.

• Installing and practicing "DMAIC" throughout each department emphasizing Logistics and Trucking.

Using the parameters of design, measure, analyze, improve and control, was able to institute changes in dates of production to accommodate delivery to customers that would allow certain shipments to piggy back already scheduled routes saving transportation costs of $12,000.00 quarterly. This included downsizing of drivers, fuel and equipment.

• Reduced overall fixed operation costs.

Negotiating fixed cost to short term contracts with vendors to avoid incremental hikes throughout the fiscal year, which were not budgeted. Namely fuel cost increases and paper increases.

• Creating knowledge awareness within the company to gain bench strength.

An ongoing effort to grow the skill sets of employees, to determine outstanding performances for management group to promote talent from within. This includes cross training, lead positions, and administration assistants.

Installing and practicing the digital registration systems on all Goss 12 color presses, adding assurance to the quality control team that registration is 100% accurate and precise.
