Lead the effort to upgrade SCOM to 2019 and SQL Server 2019 for the lab and production environments. Architected and submitted requests for servers. Created new user and group accounts. Dual homed management and gateway servers and SCOM agents on each server to communicate with the current and new environments. Created failovers for all SCOM servers. Datadog 2016 - 2017

Worked with the Datadog team to incorporate Tier 1-4 Linux and Windows serves into Datadog Version 5 to replace other monitoring tools like Dynatrace.

Created Dashboards for Linux and Windows monitoring.

Created simple monitors for disk, CPU, and memory. Set thresholds and alerting for each. The metrics returned were compared to existing tools for accuracy and speed in dashboard updates. This helped determine whether the tool was desirable.

Worked with Datadog on inclusion of parameters in the yaml file for various monitoring.

Used PowerShell with Datadog metrics spreadsheets to create meaningful reports for users.
