Chief Operating Officer with 25 years’ experience in hospital owned clinics, rural health, and private practice environment. Responsible for directing and administering the day-to-day activities of hospital departments in accordance with established policies to provide high quality healthcare services. ACCOMPLISHMENTS

• Contracted with 96% of insurance carriers on Guam for occupational medicine and workmen’s compensation services, resulting in a $4.6 mil venture for the Health Center.

• Worked with insurance company sales director to begin selling workmen’s compensation policies, creating $12 mil sales for the company.

● Created central scheduling team which increased appointment volumes by over 1000 appointments per month (average 31% per provider)

● Central Scheduling was also responsible for increased surgeries and deliveries due to increased provider availability. We saw an immediate 15% increase in these services.

● Increased revenue by 42% - keeping appointment schedules at >95% of capacity

● Designing practice management protocols and revenue cycle management protocols

Mobilized a Centralized Billing Office comprised of highly trained billers and coders. This team trained front line receptionists on clean claim requirements, resulting in reduced AR days from 70 + down to < 28

● Revenue Cycle Management. Reduced front end errors by 22%

● Revenue Cycle Management, Maintaining AR over 90 days to < 8%. The MGMA benchmark for this metric is 25%.

● Trained CBO staff in coding with all staff achieving Coding Certification within one year

● Improved financial reporting, providing physicians and mid levels with weekly KPI reports. ● Reduced no show rates from >20% to less than 8%

● Added a very successful new line of business - Occupational Medicine - resulting in annual net revenue of $560,000

● Increased OB/GYN ancillaries bringing in an additional annual revenue of over $2,000,000

● Negotiated with IHS (Apache Mescalero Tribe) to bring Obstetrical and women’s services to tribal clinic; providing midwives to improve prenatal health care and reduce newborn complications

●Payer contracts that bridged gaps in work comp claims for the payers and brought in significant revenue for our facility

● Physician recruiting and onboarding of 18 providers in 6 months
