Job description:
Technical,comercial and operational management for petro-chemical tankers ships.
Responsibilities, achievements:
-In charge with prepare vetting inspection for major oil company(Mobile,Exxon,Total,Shell,Q8,BP)
- Assist the Master to prepare working schedules.
- Preparing the dry dock or shipyard repair list.
- Arranging for understudy training of Junior Officers for a higher rank and putting forward suggestions to the office for their promotion
- Evaluating lower ranking, engine officers and crew and organizing understudy training for promotion purposes
- Reporting all Incidents, Accidents, Near Misses and Non- Conformances to the Company, assisting with investigations into the cause and suggesting Corrective and Preventive Action.
-Hazard identification and risk management for critical shipboard operations, in liaison with the Company Safety Officer. Suggesting changes to improve the Safety Management System.
- Concerning his responsibilities, Fuel / lubricants / potable water bunker arrangement requests to be advised to master in due time; spare parts / stores/ service arrangement requests to be advised to master in due time.
- Assigning maintenance/repair work to the Engine Room maintenance team, monitoring and checking work carried out by sub contractors or service engineers.
