For Receiving Inspection

Performs thorough inspection of incoming raw materials and sub-components received from outside vendors Checks, visually and mechanically, the use of approved materials, devices, fixtures, and.

Verify all materials Manufacturer Approval in Client approved Vendor List.

Review Manufacturer/Vendor ITP, & Procedures.

Verify the Technical Requirement. (For quenched and tempered pipe, Compliance with NACE MR-0175 / ISO 1515)

Verify production certificate type requirement.

Verify the visual Inspection (Surface Conditions, Imperfections and Defects, Dimensions, Mass and Tolerances, Length).

Verify the material test Certificate as per Client Specification and MR requirements (Chemical Analysis, Tensile Properties, Charpy Impact Test, Weldability Test, Micrographic, Hardness Test, Hydrogen Induced Cracking (HIC) Tests, Sulphide Stress Cracking Tests, Hydrostatic Testing, Residual Magnetism)

Receive inbound Materials / spares, inspect the condition, check Technical Specifications against the documents and prepare Goods receipt / discrepancy report and issue of Materials / spares against request by ensuring the technical specifications are correct, packed properly in accordance with Material characteristics and prepare relevant documents such as Goods issue / shipment manifest.

Review and interpret certificates such as MTC, COA, COC, etc. and ensure that Materials are received with relevant certificates as per the Purchasing document. Ensure you to keep the records and track the certificates for future reference.

Review CNRs (Complaint Notification Report) for the Materials and resolve the discrepancies by referring to the relevant drawings, technical data sheet, cross verification with installed equipment and in connection with end users & technical team in a timely manner.

Maintains regular Liaison with End users, inventory team, Warehouse Supervisors, Material Integrity & Inspection team and conducts physical verification of Materials whenever required and obtains feedback on materials full description, condition and liaise with concerned team to report discrepancy if any.

Review Material Safety Data sheets (MSDS) and Technical Data Sheets provided to decide the Hazardous Material Classification based on UN / NFPA / GHS classification system and assign storage requirement based on the Hazard class with adequate safety measures.

Identify Risks and Hazards applicable in planning the storage of Hazardous material in the Warehouse as per applicable statutory requirements.

Ensure strict compliance to safety practices and support the Safety Policies and Procedures. Adhere to ISO Policies, Procedures, and Work Instructions in support of Quality Management System.

For Welding.

Review of ITPs, WPS & job specific Procedures for project to meet customer’s expectation/ requirements comprehensively.

Review of the Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Record (PQR) as per specifications and standards for different materials and preparation of welder cards.

Inspection of materials/equipment received and prepares material inspection reports.

Checking for consistency with P&ID, Piping Plan and Isometric Drawing as to size, rating and material.

To make sure the implementation of Electrode control procedure. Responsible for the inspection of Pre, during and Post-welding activities.

To carry out Monitoring of the spool marking and welds marking as per isometric / weld map.

Inspection of Piping fabrication and erection according to client’s specification and Code.

Implementation of QA/QC activities including those of sub-contractors works in accordance with approved ITPs and Procedures, method statements and other contract documents.

Inspecting of GRE Incoming material and review Mill Test Certificates of pipes, Bends, Nipple & coupling etc and checking pipe production lot, pressure ratings ensure with Mill Test Certificates.

Inspecting the handling & storage in yard properly and visually inspect pipe outside.

Inspecting Adhesive & Epoxy expire date, and all keep in proper packing with appropriate temperature in storage area.

Witness the Qualification Test & Batch Consistency.

Monitoring GRE underground and above ground piping fabrication and installation inspection.

Performs visual inspection of piping installation including piping material identity (pipes, valves, and fittings) and its conformance to the installation drawings.

Witness and monitor for the repair if any, storage and handling of GRE pipes, fittings & flanges in the vendor’s facility.

Keep a close coordination with TPI, Execution team & Client to resolve site issues related to QA/QC.

Review and verify complete of GRE piping test packages prior to Hydro and Gravity testing.

Do the Line walking and punch list issuing of test packs and verification of punch kill.

To inspect Hydrostatic and Gravity test activates as per Project Specification / Code & Standards.

Witness procedures, tests and certify the results.

Review and verify for maintaining up-to-date quality records in accordance with quality inspection plane and Client requirements and to submit a final dossier to Client.

For Painting/Coating.

Preparing Method of Statement and ITPs.

Carrying out PQR and Mechanical Tests HSS & 3LPP.

Regularly assess the effectiveness of the Project Execution Plan and provide reports to management on quality performance and areas of improvement.
