(a) Year 2005 to 2006: First time in the 150 year s history of Greaves Cotton Limited, 5 Forward 1 Reverse speed synchromesh transaxle/gearbox with consultancy from Ricardo UK, owned full responsibility of producing 2 Dimensional,analysis,integration,development,testing,validation.

(b) Year 2014 to 2015:First time in the 65 year s history of Ashok Leyland Limited,completely new design from concept to release of 6 Forward 1 Reverse speed 1000 Nm manual transmission (MT) synchromesh gear box,upgradable to automatic manual transmission (AMT) for heavy duty truck, bus

(c) Year 2012 to 2013: First time in history of AVTEC Limited, new range of 49 types electric power generating sets designed and released to start manufacturing within 6 months, @ 100 Nos. per month. Conversion of Peugeot France (PCM), automotive DW8 IDI engine to genset application and DW10 TD Euro 4 engine converted to genset and vehicle application for GM Tavera, Hindustan Motors Ambassador and Winner vehicle application. Concept design made to convert Isuzu Euro III DI to Euro IV CRDI application Tavera.

(d) Year 1990 t0 1991:(i)First time in the history of Force Motors (Bajaj Tempo) Limited, complete new design from concept to start of production within 18 months for single cylinder 499 cc water cooled direct injection diesel engine for Minidor 3 wheeler passenger and goods carrier application. Total

@ 400 Nos. manual drawings prepared and released within 9 months by total 3 member team, prototype developed and validated within another 6 months and production started in next 3 months. Production rate was @ 2000 Nos per month. Service life increased 5 times, fuel consumption improved by 15 percent compared to competitors.

(ii) Also Mercedes Benz OM616 IDI engine converted to TD2400 DI for Matador and Trax vehicles, OM617 IDI to TD3000 DI 5 Cylinder for Excel LCV, new TD2600 engine design with consultancy from AVL, Austria, for OX45 Tractor Application

(e) Year 2000 to 2005:First time in the history of TVS (TVS Suzuki) Motor Company, during the, complete new design of 150cc liquid cooled gasoline engine for gasoline-electric hybrid 3 wheeler, and complete new 200 cc 2 stroke gasoline engine for King 3 wheeler, further basic design of 200 cc 4 stroke engine for 3 wheeler. Production rate @ 3000 Nos per month, with @ 15 % export.

(f) Year 1982 to 1988:In Kirloskar Oil Engines for the New 1985 series 4 cylinder dI diesel engine for Industrial,genset,marine etc. application Responsibility of all intake and exhaust ports, combustion chamber, piston, valve dynamics of all engines.

CIMAC Paper published.New Design submitted for DLW (GE) Locomotive engine piston in Spheroidal Graphite Cast Iron.

(f) Test setup for measurement of oil film thickness between piston ring and liner,test rig built.

(g) Design, development, testing, optimisation of intake and exhaust ports for various range of engine models, as per requirement.

(h) Development and testing of DI diesel engine running on Coal-diesel fuel slurry, 1 engine tested successfully. Technical report released.

(i) Electrical analogue setup for measurement of simulated piston temperatures, tested and analysed successfully. Paper published in ICEC Conference.
