Project team lead on multi-family style apartments. Responsibilities include project safety, scheduling, CO cost estimating, budgeting, and subcontract negotiation. 2021 to 2022 –Sr. Project Manager – Rimrock Construction, Draper, UT Project team lead on multi-family podium style apartments up to 8 stories. Responsibilities include project safety, scheduling, CO cost estimating, budgeting, and subcontract negotiation. Work included 2 story high underground vertical parking system with a single story underground parking garage under the same multi-family building. 2014 to 2021 – Construction Team Lead / Sr. Project Manager – Garbett Construction (Garbett Homes)– Salt Lake City, UT

Leading the project team in a new field of construction expanding into the vertical construction industry of multi-family developments. The projects in multifamily have been podium style framed apartment buildings 4 to 6 stories high. Responsibilities include project safety (with zero reportable injuries or illnesses), scheduling, cost estimating, budgeting, subcontract negotiation and preconstruction services. opening an office in Colorado Springs, Colorado while overseeing High Grade Mill project at a gold mine and establishing relationships with a molybdenum mine and a radioactive hazardous waste facility. Responsible for simultaneous multiple projects across several states. Most work was self-performed. Includes the detailed heavy concrete work for equipment foundations and footings.

2007 to 2011 – Senior Project Manager – Bodell Construction Company – Salt Lake City, UT

Managed Oil, Gas & Mining industry projects. Projects included several large natural gas compression stations, CO2 compression station, natural gas transmission station, and several mining projects including office buildings, conveyor systems, crusher relocations, and miscellaneous equipment installations. All the concrete, structural and equipment and piping work was self-performed. Managed the first LEED certified gas compression station installation in the western US (in Wyoming).

1992 to 2007 – Vice President of Construction (Utah Area) – Weyher Construction Company – Salt Lake City, UT.

With increasing responsibilities during the period, I worked at Weyher, until the owners closed the business, I held various titles including Vice President of Construction, Project Manager, Estimator & Superintendent. Managed the Utah Area, overseeing safety, projects and estimating. Responsible for a multitude of projects which included all phases of construction and most types of work. The projects were in heavy industrial, municipal, and commercial and over 70% self-performed. Included heavy concrete work and tanks for both water and wastewater projects in Utah. Worked on slip formed buildings up to 300’ tall and installed the structural steel after the slip formed walls were completed. Software Proficiencies:
