Work experience
•Experience in General Pediatrics, and tertiary level Pediatric Intensive Care Unit during post-graduate training and senior residency tenure at leading government medical college in Pune, Maharashtra (BJ Medical College/Sassoon General Hospital).
•Trained in pediatric, infant and neonatal intubation, emergency management, central line insertion, chest tube placement, lumbar puncture, peritoneal dialysis, ascitic tapping and other intensive care procedures.
•Worked in dedicated Thalassemia Care Unit, Special TB OPD, Epilepsy OPD
•Trained in care of the sick newborn, and well-baby clinic as part of postgraduate training.
•About 10 months of training in 59 bedded level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit during the postgraduation period at BJ Medical College/Sassoon General Hospital.
•Gained experience in managing sick newborn and NICU procedures while working as post-doctoral fellow in Neonatology at Jubilee Mission Medical College and Research Institute (discontinued the fellowship due to personal reasons)
•Completed training in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) in 2019
