I am excited about coming out of retirement and returning to the workforce, utilizing my strong analytical and organizational talents in a new direction – as a IT Asset Management Specialist IT Asset Management Specialist. My skillset and previous experience make me an excellent candidate, and a quick study, to fill such a position.

I was previously an Information Security Analyst at a large Insurance and Banking concern, which supports the US Military and their families. I was primarily tasked with creating Employee User Accounts for PC workstation access to the Enterprise Network, and to over 30 separate business applications; as well as, ensuring changes and upgrades to these applications did not compromise system integrity. This often required partnering with numerous business Project Management Teams.

Some of the tools I have used, and other qualifications I bring with me, are listed below:

Microsoft (MS) Active Directory

MS Windows Server

MS Exchange Server

MS SQL Server

MS Office Suite

MS PowerShell

MS SharePoint

Oracle Access Management

SAM Jupiter

ServiceNow

Virtual Private Network (VPN)

Remote Desktop

3270 Emulator

VMWare

My previous tasking also required me to document Process Improvements, Workflow; Disaster Recovery Procedures; and perform Risk Analysis of introducing new or upgraded application software. I was also responsible for Troubleshooting, Reporting, and Resolving Access related system outages.

These taskings enabled me to build, develop, and maintain relationships with business analytics and internal control partners (Audit, Risk & Compliance, and Legal), facilitating collaboration between all lines of defense for the enterprise. I have excellent written and verbal communication skills and am comfortable collaborating with peers and all levels of management. I work equally well independently, and as part of a team.

This was a fast-paced production-based, deadline driven environment; requiring swift interaction between multiple teams across the Enterprise.

In addition to compiling and delivering updates to the Enterprise Core Software Profile, I developed a process for creating a new Desktop Image within the testing environment, which was a process improvement for deleting and replacing the Desktop Configuration on over 100 test workstations on a weekly basis.
