Procurement Planning – Lead - Wabtec, Greenville

Responsible for ensuring material availability to support production schedule, managing inventory levels, and supporting material/product level revisions, interacting, and coordinating with suppliers on variety of topic. Place purchased orders with supplier for production that are required by forecast/Customer Demands. Monitoring all open PO’s to ensure on time delivery – including resolving any issue that occurs during the process. Expediting or deferring POs as needed within the company. Keeping safety stock levels current. Managing and resolving issues regarding PO to invoice discrepancies. Setting up/maintaining material master planning parameters (MOQ, lead time, pricing adjustments). Sending out for RFQ’s and new quotes for the sales team. Training for new employees coming in supply chain. Resolving shipping issues. Forecasting 4-8 weeks ahead to ensure OTD. Maintain upkeep with certain spreadsheets so the company is update to date on what is happening within the shop. Negotiating with supplier to ensure we are getting the best pricing. Making sure RMA’s are evaluated in a timely manner. Running reports on other buyers to ensure daily task are being completed. Maintaining KPI levels. Supports AP when invoices are questions – Helps get invoices validated to process for payment. Assisted in the Oracle implantation in 1Q of 2023. Helped with testing to ensure processes are working properly.

Supporting implantation of Auto PO. Ensure will have supplier information uploaded into MRP/ERP correctly for a smooth first phase. Supporting SCC implantation for all suppliers to be using by the end of 3Q 2023. Ensures the team is keeping to the OPEX standards as we continue to go into the different phases of Oracle.

AUGUST 2019- NOVEMBER 2021

Production Planner - Wabtec, Greenville

Coordinate manufactured/purchased material movements for the production team. Generated a 4-6-week window report based on customer orders to identify and shortages. Reviewing routes made by Engineering to make sure the Bill of Material (BOM) is calling for the correct items and making sure all drawings are update with job creations. Create jobs by working workbench and reviewing for shortages. Updating eval sheets from the production floor into the ERP system so the costing will be correct once the job order is complete. Requests for subcontract purchase orders to ship out any external work. Performed all material transactions in Infor Syteline to ensure accurate inventory. Maintained regular rhythm with supply chain to track timely receipts and processing of all inventories. Set up similar process for repair of non-conforming parts in other departments throughout Wabtec to insure timely corrections. Give information about orders/material that could not complete by going into the back in of database, correcting the problem. Resolving issues with missing material on complete job orders. Working with production supervisor to make sure we hit on time delivery dates. Working beside buyer to ensure materials will be here on their due/promise dates. Understanding the manufacturing process and how to it. Deciding on what needs to happen systemically to process/complete work order in the shop. Running expectations reports to due determine move in/out dates on job. Running production meeting once a week to inform all upper management and client resources where we stand in production and work out any internal/external issues to insure on time delivery.

AUGUST 2016 – AUGUST 2019

Rework/MRP Specialist - General Electric Power & Water, Greenville

Coordinated all material movements for Quality Engineering team for non-conforming product. Generated repair routes for GE Turbines blade for internal and external suppliers. Performed all related transactions in SAP to ensure accurate inventory. Maintained regular rhythm with supply chain to track timely receipts and processing of all inventories. Set up similar process for repair of non-conforming parts in other departments throughout GE, including Coatings, Shrouds, Diaphrams, and Combustion. Worked with GE Digital to further automate repair process by helping to create Bot. Provided technical support throughout the entire plant. Work with GE digital in go-lives, logging in information into database, helping input serial numbers to their correct status. Give information about orders/material that could not complete by going into the back in of database, correcting the problem. Worked tickets that came in from the shop.

SEPTEMBER 2015 – AUGUST 2016

Lead over my team that worked with children mainly that were autistic. Ran their daily program that was design for each client. Made sure their books were updated every week, adding more cards, getting more ABA papers so other therapist can run the program with no problem. Help my team members work through difficult task and reward them for handling the situation properly. Meetings with the client’s programmer to inform them on what each client is doing and how they are doing on each program. Helping team members, clients and client’s family members understand emotions so they can gain more control of any situation. Understanding that having autism or tending to someone who is diagnosed, that they have a support system in everything they choose to do.
