RN (Floor Nurse/Charge Nurse) Medical Surgical Unit

Preceptor for both practical nursing students and associate degree nursing students
Implement general nursing duties: phlebotomy, port-a-cath access, daily nursing assessments, wound care, medication administration, G-tube care, Foley care, Cpap/Bipap maintenance, documentation, diabetic care, and IV insertion.
Charge Nurse

manage daily functioning of the unit, as well as delegate nurse and support to staff assignments
Supervise LPNs and Medication Technicians
Performed routine audits during medication administration for both LPNs and med techs
