Operation Manager

Operation in charge of medium scale Chemical plant with a team of 50 to 100 person. I was also responsible for process engineering construction, commissioning subsequently operation and maintenance of these plants.

Worked on setting up of Maleic anhydride project in UAE and Bio ethanol project grain based in India.

Worked as Freelance Consultant from Feb 2018 to Sept 2021- Mainly associated with contractor KGPS Mechanical Bharuch Gujarat to support them technically in execution of Carbon black project jobs.

Worked as President – Project & Business Development IG Petrochemical Ltd. – Mumbai 2013 – 2018

Established strategic relationships with a client in UAE through a successful joint venture for a Maleic anhydride project costing approx 140M USD. Complete over seeing of FEED document preparation based on technology from Scientific design USA and cost estimation of project. Also studied on setting up of Malic acid project in India which included cost estimation and financial evaluation.

Worked as President – Projects BGR Energy - Chennai 2011 – 2013

Led a team of 300 professionals and headed project management functions including engineering, procurement, construction & commissioning, with sole P&L accountability for Thermal power plant projects.

I was heading the Minerals division operation team which included Projects, procurement & construction management and co-ordination with Engineering and finance divisions for successful implementation of EPC projects, led a team of 150 professionals.
