Front office Duties

Shift planning

Guests’ relation and overbooking handling

Contently training employees and colleagues on how to higher the hotel standard service

Checking in/out of guests and VIPs

VIPs rooms check to ensure maximum level of service

Fully conversant with all room rates, special packages and promotions and other general product knowledge

Upselling all hotel product to enhance incomes

Coordinates room status updates with the housekeeping department by notifying housekeeping of all check-outs, late check-outs, early check-ins, special requests, and part-day rooms.

Fully understands the reservation system used. Knows how to take, file and cancel reservations.

Uses proper procedures for handling telephone calls, mail, packages, and messages

Concierge Duties:

Booking and reservation for golf, restaurant, tours, safaris, tickets for Event and activities.

-Following up on lost luggage.

-Handling guest luggage during check in/out.

-Airline reservation, cancelation, and reconfirmation.

-Handling long term storage of luggage.

-Newspapers delivery to the rooms.

-Arranging transportation picks up/ drop guests to and from airport.

-Arrange pre check in at airport.

-Telephone department regarding guest messages and faxes
