2013 – Present: Tri-Ed Distribution-- Regional Operations Manager

Responsibilities include - plan, execute and control all Warehousing & Distribution operations within the western Region. Oversee of multiple accounts, to include; maximizing productivity, assuring appropriate cycle times, fill rates, quality control, order accuracy and on-time shipment of customer orders, internal transfers and returns - Responsible for annual budget, to include; labor rates, temporary personnel and all expenditures. Recruit, train and develop personnel to reach their full potential, as well as conduct performance reviews, evaluations and develop weekly work schedules.

2008-2012: Big Lots Distribution – Senior Operations Manager / Inbound – Outbound

Managed both Inbound & Outbound operations for both 1st & 2nd shift. Plan, execute and control warehousing, distribution operations of this multiple shift facility, to ensure a culture of safety throughout the organization by following Home Depot safety policies and procedures - monitor DC safety, physical security and operational metrics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis in relation to budgets, labor rates, personnel and equipment expenditures. Recruit, interview, train, develop and mentor personnel to reach their full potential, conduct performance reviews, evaluations and disciplinary corrective actions. Depending on need, may work with the GM to manage relationship with #3PL onsite delivery or transportation agent for all outbound loads, review transportation carrier performance with associates.
