RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

* TECHNICAL/GEOLOGICAL:

Responsible for maintaining sampling equipment, rebuilding and repairing pumps for air and groundwater monitoring equipment, periodically checking and calibrating meters against new standards, redesigning DC power supplies for timers and low volume air pumps.

Instrumental in upgrading and improving the tritium in air sampling pumps with a more simplistic system that utilizes one AC pump to sample two different medias.

Redesigned and installed the air supply system that powers the pneumatic Bennett groundwater monitoring pumps at the Radiological Waste Management Site.

Created an Emergency Response Air Sampling system and with fabrication of required equipment.

Designed, built and operated two mobile groundwater trailers that monitor and sample offsite shallow monitoring wells near Beatty, NV.

Designed and built numerous other solar powered structures and equipment for field use.

Created and reviewed technical drafts, procedures, proposals and planning documents to be submitted to DOE for approval.

Responsible for inventorying and procuring sampling containers and special sampling tools and equipment.

Assisted building inspectors by supervising concrete samples taken during construction, and monitored test results from concrete cylinder breaks.

Assisted engineers in the construction management office with reading of plans and reviewing specifications on various construction projects.

Water-sampled pilot wells, supply wells and monitoring wells, and performed soil sampling, air monitoring, fabrications and equipment repairs and maintenance.

Supported hydrological engineering on erosion and flood control projects.

Assisted laboratory chemist with processing and preparation of water and air samples for analysis.

* MANAGEMENT:

Eight years’ retail management experience at Champs Sports, Going To The Game, Woolworth Corporation, Sunshade Optique/Solstar, and Sunglass Hut International.

Delegated responsibilities of overall store operations to assistant managers, which included inventory control, recruitment, accounting procedures, visual merchandising and store maintenance.
