Most people have certain way they want things done so I'm not afraid to ask questions to make sure I'm delivering exactly what is expected. It shouldn't take me long to learn all the tricks to any task, especially if it's related to paint. I already have 8+ years of both prepping and spraying hvlp under my belt. I have painted cars, planes, and steel buildings. I've done a little bit of powder coating, some water base, enamels, in a lot of different primers and paints for vehicles, I normally did base and clear. I can spray true candied. I can eyeballs mill spec and coats really close. I spent a year and 3 months spraying aircraft parts for $9 an hour and I'm confident that I can spray any kind of paint as well as fix imperfections during the process. There's no person I can't work with and no task I won't give my all for. I always show up with a smile and I treat my work like not only my family depends on it but like the company depends on it. I can send you pictures of things I've painted which include industrial washing machines (giant part washers), hot rods, and antique vehicles. I primed the tallest skyscraper in San Francisco at mid-am metal Fab in rogersville a few years ago. Before that I learned how to prep and spray candied when I was 18, while helping my dad run a car lot at the same time at night. I have pictures of vehicles I painted and two pictures of vehicles that I prepped but did not spray. Before I was givin a shot at the custom paint shop I walked 10 miles to blue beacon truck wash after getting a speeding ticket and not being able to afford car insurance. I ran around semis for 9 hours a day and then walked home 10 mi soaking wet in knee-high boots. I did that for 3 months until the first snow. I walked thousands of miles to get to and from that job. At 9 bucks an hour I couldn't afford all the bills and car insurance, so walking was surviving.. I'm glad wages have gone up. I can do anything

(prepping /painting/ masking) whatever you need done, warehouse work, including driving machines and forklifts, or just sweeping like we're gonna eat off the floor. I'll always be looking for the next step and Follow instructions with attention to detail.

PepsiCo - Springfield, MO

June 2021 to October 2021

I worked for blue crew for 3 months and they were happy to hire me on full time at Pepsi. About a month of being hired on with the actual company, I got a job offer that was too good to pass up. Unfortunately the woman that offered me the job for $30 an hour told me I had to quit and couldn't work the two week notice because we were starting the next day. Tuesday October 5th she called me on my first break and told me I needed to leave work to be at a meeting that night so I could start the next day. then every day she had some kind of excuses to why we weren't starting and after a week the lady just vanished. I'm not the only one she did this to, she had five people waiting, promising us we would even be paid for that week. I had completed my two weeks notice at every job accept AWG that I changed for the last 6 years and left in good standing. I have reliable transportation, a great work ethic, and good attitude. AWG - Springfield, MO

March 2019 to April 2020

Drove a double pallet jack and stack food (various sizes and shapes of) boxes safely. Keep pace to ensure a score of 100 percent or more, which was taxing but I managed. I sprained my ankle really bad and wasn't going to be able to keep up for a few weeks so I was asked to resign and come back once I was able to keep pace again, but other opportunities arose, and I got to help a now good friend finish painting a beautiful 53 GMC truck. And I tried to be a freelance painter but couldn't find paying customers, Penmac temp

Penmac Staffing - Nixa, MO

July 2016 to April 2017

I worked many jobs for penmac and they love me there I had excellent in 10 minutes even better quality work, I would complete the time at places like accurate plastics in Nixa, French's in Springfield I work in a welding shop for a month drilling holes till that job was completed, I turned down motels in Branson for a few months that was one of the only jobs that I quit because the lady was stealing my tips and the supervisor wouldn't do anything about it. A job went from being a couple hundred dollars a day down to

$9 an hour when she started doing that I'm still welcome to work through Penn Mac anytime. Last job I worked for penmac was LKQ and I got hired on there thus ending my unemployment with penmac. I have made sure to finish all the jobs through penmac and put in my two weeks for every job except for Pepsi which I was promised $30 an hour if I quit my job that day I was supposed to start the next day and that job fell through at no fault of my own. The lady even said she was going to pay my wife and i for that week because it wasn't our attendance in question. By the way she promised my wife a supervising position making $70 an hour, $100 an hour between the two of us, it seemed as legitimate as it could be too. Cleaning $4,000 a night condos that are 10 bedrooms and four baths a lot of units. But I learned a hard lesson, I thought I already knew. Don't sweat the job until you know you have another one I really thought that's what I was doing

Metal Finishing Company - Wichita, KS

August 2011 to November 2012

Primed carts full of aircraft parts. Baked and sometimes flipped them when didn't have a flipper. I made the company over 750k in one day, between me and the 8 other people touching the parts from anodizing, to prime, flipper, my priming again and baking, another prepper/part flipper, topcoat painter/ baker packager, and truck driver. Making millions for that company while I made $9 an hour. It was fun work though. They appreciated my perfect prep work, perfect mil-spec priming, top coating. I started working there in the ashes. cleaning baked screens with a wire brush for 9 hours a day for a couple month. I broke my cheekbone a week after landing that job and skinned my entire face in an accident but still showed up wearing a respirator for all positions. with bandages, performing all my duties. I really enjoyed that job but I could barely afford a crummy apartment, then my dog got evicted, truck broke down, mother fell into a coma, and my Aunt became disabled all within 2 weeks of each other so I moved to Missouri where they lived and helped them. I moved in with my aunt, met my wife and now have a 5 year old son. While working here I also worked at a main Auto sales doing body work and painting for my dad on awesome classic cars that I have pictures of and can explain what I did to each of the vehicles which includes spraying many of them as well as complex body work including fiberglass, body panel welding, structural replacement (such as core supports), as well as many mechanical tasks everything you would need done at a car lot. Here in Missouri I worked at LKQ tearing down engines and learned the ins and outs of motors I was there for a year and 3 months and only left that job for AWG which paid $5 more an hour.

Truck Wash attendant

Blue Beacon Truck Wash - Cuba, MO

January 2008 to November 2008

I ran around semi trucks all day sweating covered in citrushine and non potable water, I got a speeding ticket because I was young and dumb with an 87 Chrysler 5th avenue God bless the 318. My rent was

$400 a month and for nine bucks an hour a $500 ticket really bit me. My insurance lapsed, the car in front of the car in front of me slammed on their brakes because they were about to miss their turn at the pharmacy and the lady in front of me slammed on her brakes a good quarter to 3/8 mi behind that lady matching her slamage and I rear-ended her. Had to pay for that ticket too so I walked 10 miles from a mile into steelville to The far side of Cuba Missouri every day for three and a half months until the first snow and I had my tickets paid it was at that time my dad called me and offered me body shop / Car lot training for 20 bucks a day and room and board I may not be certified but you won't see a person like me ever again in your life I'd like to find some place that feels like home kind of like LKQ did even though that task was extremely demanding tearing down engines. For the last 6 years I have been putting in two weeks notices before I left any job except for two AWG because I sprained my ankle and they didn't want to " fire me fire me" so they asked me to resign because I was such a hard worker but I don't want to go back there because it is an extremely dangerous place I'm no good to my son if I can't throw a ball to him or walk. Mid-am metal Fab was the only other job that I wasn't able to put in my two weeks because my supervisor lied it wasn't two months later he was fired as well. Semi Truck Washer

Blue Beacon Truck Wash - Cuba, MO

February 2007 to September 2008

I worked there for a good 10 and 1/2 months I think for 9 bucks an hour I was living out a friend's house who's dad was charging me 400 bucks a month rent to live in their basement I did great at the job, nearest fast paced everything from scrubbing the super singles to running the 15-ft wands to polishing citrus shining you name it I was a really hard worker so much so that when my insurance lapsed on my car, I still walked the 10 miles to work in those horrible rubber boots and walked home soaking wet for over 3 months at that point the old man dropped my rent down to $200, my friends all thought I was crazy and I gained a lot of respect from them by being that committed if I recall correctly I got a really bad speeding ticket and that's what kind of burnt me with the insurance and stuff I got like a 86 and a 55 and it cost me over $500 and broke me to the point where I couldn't afford my bills but it didn't stop me from working I'm now 30 years old and not 18 I have two G-Body Chevrolets and 81 Monte Carlo and an 82 El Camino they're both reliable and my wife also has an 06 Stratus that we warrantied the world out of and it is even more reliable I have worked hard all my life helped my father run a car lot and I'll continue to work hard though I do have a manager's mindset I may not look like much at the moment with my shaggy hair but I have spent the last year getting my son ready for school he's five now not very many people can say they got to take a year off to spend with their son the coronavirus was a blessing and a curse. I had something that may end up killing a lot of my family like my grandfather who has a tracheotomy but without us being biologically attacked you know I wouldn't have got to spend time with my son during the most important time of his life so for that I'm grateful God puts me where he wants me and I know how to detail cars correctly now I tried to do it for a guy a few months ago who had me doing it wrong I spent 12 hours detailing a Dodge caravan with the fold down seats that dogs had lived in well the guy told me step one wipe it down with cleaner step two vacuum it but he didn't mention anything about an air compressor. Then the guy that owned the car lot who owned that particular vehicle came over and said hey how come you haven't blown this out yet but by then the guy giving me a shot decided I hadn't made more than $25 in 2 days even though I was doing as I was told, hey let me go which I can't blame the guy he works well by himself and I do too but I was following his instructions and well I know now. I also paint and that's not something I say lightly can candied paint. There are not too many people who can put true candy on a car

Additional Information

Painted for 8+ years cars buildings and planes AWG associate for almost a year untill I sprained my ankle and was asked to resign because I couldn't run for a week, if I would have been hurt again within a month they would have had to fire me for good. After hitting my head in there three times to the point I was almost knocked unconscious but still finished my shift and spraining my ankle three times still working on it which helped it from swelling, I took their advice and went ahead and resigned and I'm currently looking for a painting position either HVLP lvlp or electrostatic. When I paint cars I paint

$10,000 paint jobs I can do cheap fast jobs for car lots making styrofoam rocker panels but it is not the right way to repair things. Though I don't have a certificate I was taught by people who fix vehicles correctly. Such as welding sheet metal into doors of cars like 65k car mustangs, and how to shape 71 Monte Carlo quarter panels ECT. I have many pictures of vehicles that painted. I know how to buff, marble two tones, spray candied, use my eyes to see mill spec, and all the safety precautions that come along with painting with hazardous materials
