Baxter Construction...August 2022 to present. Lead superintendent managing a multi-family project consisting of garden style buildings with 306 apartment units. Responsible for typical superintendent duties such as scheduling, look ahead scheduling, quality control, inspections, RFIs, reporting, safety meetings, etc. Currently mentoring one assistant superintendent. Budget is $56 million. Fairfield Development...February 2020 to July 2022. Lead superintendent running a multi-family project consisting of 364 apartment units. Responsible for all the scheduling, quality control, inspections, RFIs, coordination with architects, engineers, bank inspectors, insurance inspectors, etc. Supervise 2 assistants superintendents. Budget is $58 million.

Macdonald Companies June 2017 to February 2020. Lead superintendent managing multi-family projects. Handled all scheduling, material ordering, quality control, city interaction with planners and inspectors, fire inspections and walk-thrus. Current project is a 15 building wood frame build with a budget of $16 million. Amicus Construction December 2015 to May 2017. Construction superintendent managing multi-family projects at The Domain. Responsible for scheduling, quality control, reporting, safety, punch-outs, customer service and mentoring younger assistant superintendents. Budget on current project - $55 million. Oakbrook Builders October 2014 to December 2015. Project manager building multi-family projects as well as re-hab multi-family work. Hired the project superintendents, contracted out all the work, wrote scopes of work, wrote contracts, set budgets, dealt with clients as well as city engineers, plan reviewers, utility managers and city inspectors plus 3rd party inspectors. Supervised all the off-site work (earthwork, underground utilities, taps, right of ways). Responsible for bringing in jobs under budget. Average job – $25 million.

Megatel Homes November 2013 to October 2014. As construction manager I managed two sub-divisions in building detached single family homes. I handled all the scheduling, quality control, punches, walk-thrus, approved all invoicing, all coding, as well as handled all the permit work (meeting with plan reviewers, city staff, inspectors). I supervised the off-site work on two new tracts as well. Including all the dirt work, underground utilities, all the taps, grades everything in order to get property ready for the building.

Statewide Property Inspections October 2007 to September 2013. As the property preservation manager I managed the inspections, re-hab work and maintenance of vacant, foreclosed properties. I supervised 15 crews and was responsible for the estimating, bidding, invoicing, safety and reporting on all construction activity. Had an average of 15 re-hab jobs going on at any given time. I contracted out the work, wrote the scopes of work and dealt with architects and engineers on different projects. Urban Coyote Construction November 1998 to September 2007. I managed a construction company that built new houses, custom houses, condos and apartments. We also were involved in restoration/re-hab work on houses and apartments. We had the opportunity to build some smaller commercial buildings. I located the vacant land. I negotiated the purchase of the land, dealt with the city on zoning, met with members of the city council on certain issues and developed a relationship with the different municipalities in which we were doing work. I established all budgets and ran the construction.

Habitat for Humanity September 1994 to November 1999. I served as construction manager for HfH. I had the responsibility of managing not only the sub-contractors but also the crew leaders we used to help supervise the hundreds of volunteers that were attracted to HfH. I established manpower and cost budgets. I worked with the city in helping them meet their affordable housing goals. I helped the city establish a comprehensive affordable housing program that was used to help in building in distressed areas. I trained crew leaders, helped in fund raising, took part in board meetings, met with city staff many many times on different issues, dealt with the media, gave more interviews than I can remember and traveled to HUD meetings all over the country. And in the process of all this activity we build hundreds of houses in helping to meet the Habitat mission.

Ryland Homes June 1989 to August 1994. As construction superintendent I had the responsibility for 2 single family home tracts at all times. Responsible for all construction, all scheduling, qualilty control, walk-thrus, customer service, invoicing approvals, safety and all the other inherent duties in production building. We build over 2,000 houses annually in our area.

Continental Homes November 1984 to June 1989. I functioned as a superintendent on various large tracts. Responsible for building detached single family housing as well as condos and garden-type apartments. I handled all the construction supervision, scheduling, quality control, walk-thrus, safety and all other construction related activities. We were production builders, building 2500-3000 houses annually. US Homes September 1977 to July 1984. My first position as a superintendent with responsibility for everything. I submitted plans and specs for permits, sub-contracted all the labor, learned how to write scopes of work, supervised the off-site work, managed all the scheduling, quality control, walk-thrus and customer service. Fast-paces, production building.

Education: San Benito High School San Benito, Texas University of Corpus Christi Corpus Christi, Texas Many and varied, sales, management, safety (OSHA 30), technical and relationship skills courses through the years.

Salary: Currently at a base of $150,00 with $700 month veh/gas allowance and a bonus program. I am flexible with salary requirements.
