Dear Sir or Madam,
I am submitting my curriculum vite in application for a Nurse Practitioner position with your organization. I have a Masters in Science as A Family Nurse practitioner. I would like to apply my experience and training to becoming a nurse practitioner with your healthcare team.
I emigrated to the United States from the UK in 1995 at the age of 19 and have enjoyed becoming immersed in American culture. In doing so, I have had the opportunity to become involved with numerous volunteer organizations, strengthening my connection to the community. It was through this strong connection that I chose to pursue a career in nursing. Shortly after enrolling in nursing school, I secured a job at Good Samaritan Hospital, Suffern, where I have enjoyed working for over fifteen years.
During my 15 years working at Good Samaritan I have worked in the float pool gaining valuable experience working in multiple departments. During the past 2 years I have completed 750 hours of clinical time with many clinicians from your Westchester Medical Center including Lisa Carpella, Annemarie McDermott, Patsy Kivlehan and Kathy Begley which have been crucial to my training as a nurse practitioner.
Thank you for your consideration
Sincerely
Jo Barr
