I was heading MEP services for the facilities function of Chennai’s biggest IT Park with a builtup area of 1.25 million sft. Also handled project fuction of Phase-II of the same complex with a buil up area of 2.5 million sft.till recently.upto April 2020 after which I have retired from service.

POWER SYSTEMS:-

Saving were achieved.

For higher rating compressor motor drives and other drives where V grooved pulley were used

Flat pulley was used thereby saving the slip in mechanical transmission and hence energy.

Automatic level controllers were used in Over Head tanks and UG sumps for switching OFF

and switching On the pumps at the optimum level thereby avoiding manual interface and

wastage of water due to overflow.,

Pressmatic taps with fine sprayers were used in toiets and canteen where continuos usage of

water finds its place. A good quantum of water saving was achieved by this.

CFL lamps were replacement with LED lamps in all the interior office and production areas

and in street lightsthereby achieving huge quantum of power saving,at the same time achieved

very good lighting.

G. Career Highlights:

Has successfully designed procured, installed and commissioned, operated and maintained heavy engineering machine in steel industry (like Draw Bench, Slitter, TubeMill etc.,)

Have successfully designed installed, erected and commissioned automation systems required for the Tube handling in Roller Hearth Furnace, straightening Machine involving PLC.

Have toured to Italy during 1994 for the inspection of a heat treatment Radio Frequency plant. The same plant is commissioned by me individually without the help of foreign technicians.
