AREAS OF FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT KNOWLEDGE

Financial Statement Analysis & Integrity Creating a Shared Financial Management Vision Evaluating & Addressing Financial Exposure Instituting Cost Containment/Reduction Techniques Improving Financial Performance on an On-Going Basis Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Multi-Year Budget Management Ensuring Regulatory Compliance Revenue Generation CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Achieving Multi-Million-Dollar Revenue Gains: Played a key role in the rapid growth of Sanofi Bio-Ingredients from a $24 million company to a $300 million company within a 3 year time span. $120 million in revenue growth came from the 14 acquisitions, in a two year period, that I served as a major participant in and the remaining $154 million in revenue that came via organic growth of the primary product line and division.

Managing a Company Turnaround Situation: Managed a turnaround project for The Michael Alan Lewis Company that previously was losing $100,000 monthly to a breakeven status in 3 months and within 6 months reached $100,000 in monthly profits. This was accomplished by laying-off a third of the workforce, revamping production flow, eliminating unprofitable product lines which accounted for approximately 30% of sales revenue, and significantly improved product quality via statistical controls and just-in-time production techniques.

Instituting New Pricing & Supplier Incentive Programs: Saved a product line and manufacturing facility of Sanofi Bio- Ingredients ($80 million) through implementation of direct costing analysis and leading a team to negotiate pricing concessions from suppliers in response to main competitor who slashed the market price in half. Brought to management's attention the ability to meet the new market price, maintain marketshare and not close recently renovated production facility. Raw material suppliers were offered an incentive program that if predetermine standards were met or exceeded, prior raw materials pricing would be recaptured.

Negotiating a Product Line Finance Plan with General Motors: Doubled the revenue of Michael Alan Lewis from $7 million to $14 million in 6 months following turnaround by negotiating with General Motors to finance a new paint line for a major product line. Consequently, this resulted in giving a nickel discount on a per piece basis unit cost of new paint line was captured and culminated Michael Alan Lewis as the exclusive provider to General Motors for this specific product line.
