Enclosed please find enclosed my resume for the position of Registered Nurse for which you are in search of. I am an experienced nurse who has worked in the past in Intensive Care, Interventional Radiology, PACU, emergency room, cardiac rehab, and ambulatory care. While in working in the Interventional Radiology, I performed both vascular and interventional procedures, both in preop and postop as well in the IR suites. In all areas, I am strong in moderate sedation and working in acute and intensive care areas as well as in the surgical units. I have very strong skills both in surgery and at the bedside. I have years of experience in recovering patients and carrying for the sickest patients. I am a very detailed, oriented individual and have great organizational skills. I have developed strong analytical skills and am very autonomous. I pay close attention to detail and pride myself on time management. With this time and experience, I have acquired a great expertise in a variety of skills. In the past, I was part of a review team for APACHE and a major study about cardiovascular disease in African American women. For 5 years, I also worked in the faculty for Kent State University for all undergraduate students, from freshmen to seniors. I have worked with both traditional and accelerated students, both in their junior and senior rotations. I took on a role in their faculty as well. I have a developed a love for teaching and I feel it has helped to develop strong and well prepared new graduates for the field. My positions have provided me with wonderful experiences that have broadened my knowledge and made me a well- rounded nurse and educator. I also have finished my Masters of Science in Nursing. From my graduate studies, I have acquired much education that has increased my knowledge base for both clinical and disease management. I am a highly committed and a strong, experienced nurse.
