Manage primary waste stream of material as it is generated in the course of production.

Review records for accuracy of information, compliance with established procedures, and determination of adequacy of stock levels. Trace history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records, and recommend remedial actions to resolve discrepancies.

Assist with planning the layout of stockroom, warehouse, and other storage areas, considering factors for items stored such as turnover, size, weight, and related factors.

Advise warehouse staff on care and preservation of items received, stored, and shipped.

Advise warehouse staff on proper methods and use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping stock.

Study records and recommend remedial actions for reported non- usable, slow moving, and excess stock.

Maintain and ensure adherence to all safety standards and policies. Maintain and ensure adherence to housekeeping standards.

Manage Ten Supervisors and Directing fifty-five Unionized shipping personnel and sixty Teamster drivers, I am responsible for the timely daily trailer loading of various cake and bread products. Safety, Load Accuracy and Sanitation are also key elements of this position situated in high volume Bakery with twenty-six shipping docks. I interact regularly with production management to ensure all trailers depart timely, complete with all products ordered. We ship approximately fifty-five trailer loads daily and I take great pride in my job.
