ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Assisted in the growth of a young company from $25 million to $400 million by launching programs and developing Engineering and other departments. Executed product launches in North America, Europe, China, Mexico, and India programs.

Managed departments, such as Product Engineering, Program Management, Electrical Engineering, Validation Lab, Metrology, Quality Engineering, Tool Engineering, and Packaging Engineering.

Part of the expansion to increase ADAC’s global footprint of Engineering in the initial UK operations. The next global leap was partnering with a German-based company and a Milwaukee-based company. Acted as the Global Lead in creating synergies.

Supported development in China, Mexico, and India Engineering and Manufacturing.

Engineered the first chrome plated plastic exterior and interior handles in North America, single point attached bracket exterior door handles, the first 2-piece handles (which led to electronic modules being included), along with in-house design and manufacture of capacitance sensor electronic modules.

Enhanced the product portfolio from handles to include exterior mirrors, electronic modules, spoilers, rear appliques, lighting, and fuel fillers.

Engineered the first capacitive kidSafe bus door seal for the bus industry.

Engineered a capacitive touch door entry module to the beltline molding (door handle-less) along with a Radar based module to the lower door cladding for obstacle detection.

Nartron is a privately held tier-one, full-service supplier that focuses on electronic manufacturing for the automotive, heavy truck, bus, military and consumer product markets. Supplier of integrated electronic systems, such as capacitance and radar, which Sense-Compute-Control.

Director of Engineering- Mechanical/Project Management (2021- current)

Managing Product Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Metrology, and Lab.

Acting Program Manager/Mechanical Engineer to launch the capacitive touch door entry modules, along with the Radar door obstacle detection modules.

Acting Program Manager/Mechanical Engineer to launch a kid-safe bus door seal safety feature which incorporates capacitive sensor which senses an obstruction to prevent door closure.

ADAC Automotive is a privately held global, tier-one, full service automotive supplier that focuses on innovation of vehicle access systems, such as handles, mirrors and trim. Product is primarily plastic injection molded, painted with automated assembly focusing on integrating electronics into its product solutions.
