Selected Responsibilities and Accomplishments

●Managed all operational aspects of Inventory department including business development and marketing plans, recruitment, hiring and training of staff, budgeting, P&L, scheduling work and activities, establishing policies and procedures, procurement of equipment and supplies, client and vendor relations, performance evaluations, and motivation of employees.

●Improved sales by compiling and scrubbing data from multiple databases to identify key KPIs for sales/client retention, production, and field productivity. Presented metrics to the Board of Directors and stakeholders that were easily updated and could be utilized to identify trends.

●Developed a series of training presentations and video modules that new hires were required to complete before being assigned a project. Feeding off the knowledge of our managers and subject matter experts, this comprehensive program boasted scalability.

●Enhanced morale through promotion of a team-based, collaborative, and cross-functional work atmosphere. Provided assignments of increased responsibility along with opportunities for additional training and challenging performance incentives that encouraged a sense of ownership in the overall operation. Performed interviews, hiring, performance improvement initiatives, and monitoring of new associates.

●Worked with the CEO and COO in the conversion of a new acquiring company. Served as the Go-to Person for all due diligence, operational policies, changes needed, and communications to assimilate into the acquiring company.

●Reviewed and customized the CRM system to produce a Pipeline Report through which revenue was tracked and forecasted. Utilized the CRM system to maintain business reviews and score key accounts.

●Supervised Management of travel delays of team and equipment that could have postponed a key account. Coordinated project management, operations, and travel teams. Maintained communication with clients providing updates as available. Through the coordination of all teams, the team arrived at the client only a couple of hours late, completing the project on time.

●Maintained and grew revenue during the COVID-19 pandemic after many clients postponed their counts due to restrictions. Offered our inventory expertise for hospital systems setting up off-site warehouses to stock Personal Protective Equipment needed during COVID. The new revenue stream allowed us to continue and not lay off employees.

●Boosted productivity, sales, and financial strategic planning through the creation of a new General Management tool/template wherein all data for a project could be entered with an average starting point and then manipulated to arrive at the best-case scenario. Included were client cost, resources needed, and estimated gross margin and margin after fixed cost had been removed. The use of the tool lessened the amount of time needed to review projects and provide client fees.

●Worked with the software development team after the company was acquired to create the necessary updates and enhancements for our field team and office production to resume normal activities. Successfully made this conversion within 2 weeks and minimal disruption with our clients.

●Organized the documentation of travel hours through research into best practices and development of a new Excel tool that tracked travel hours by employee, travel type, begin times, end times, and total hours. Information from this tool was utilized in our payroll system.

●Utilized agile problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address increased restrictions for entering healthcare facilities during the COVID-19 pandemic including testing, vaccinations, and credentialing. Researched requirements for each State and created a process for maintaining requirements for each client while minimizing state-to-state travel. Successfully navigated the increased compliance requirements and resolved customer issues during the worst of the pandemic.

●Reduced the possibility of downtime by working with the Managers of each team to identify the best candidates for cross-training between the once siloed functions. Once cross-training was in place the entire Unit became more resilient with morale increasing as overall knowledge increased.

●Worked with a potential client who wanted to do a count and variance report of their products that were stored in a warehouse managed by a separate company. Created a program into which we were able to enter items, locations, and count, and then consolidate the count in comparison to theoretical counts. The client was very pleased, having us return the following year with multiple locations throughout the US.
