Had to know how to locate proper address, how to verify that it was correct address being delivered to before placing package on the porch. Had to report vehicle issues to be maintenance, dangerous dogs on the route and built positive customer/driver communication and relationships. Drove and delivered in all types of weather.

Duties: I am responsible for the smooth and proper operation of two facilities. Both facilities consisting of two kitchens and two kitchenettes in four separate buildings. One kitchen based in Polk, Pa and three in Franklin, Pa. I am responsible for placing delivery orders to several vendors. I’m in charge of monthly scheduling for a staff of six, preparing and signing off time cards to be submitted to bookkeeping. I am also responsible for inventory, making sure all equipment is in proper working order. If there are equipment issues, I handle contacting the maintenance supervisor, via email, to ensure equipment has been maintenance. I travel bi-weekly to Erie, to pick up food orders from our nonprofit vendor. Weekly I handle proper rotation and stocking of freezers, refrigerators, and dry stock in both facilities. As manager, it is my job to ensure, that at all times, my staff is maintaining a clean and sanitary working environment. I coordinate the Servsafe training course in our facility. I train staff in the proper use of equipment and preparing food for proper time temperature control. Quarterly I help to coordinate the community food drive in our Polk facility. Annually, through my employer, I am part of a team that helps with the smooth operation of the postal food drive in Franklin. Annually I am involved, through my employer, with The United Way 5K walk/run. Trained to cover med room when short staffed. I train them each day in the importance of food safety, to keep things running smoothly and maintain a sanitized working environment. I fill out paperwork on head counts so, as to bill the county properly for meals going out. I make sure all special diets are followed. Keep coolers and freezers at the desire safe temperatures and maintain organization. Maintain a safe working environment for all. Keep tempers down when they arise amongst the inmates. I am trained to place orders via our Aramark computer system that is linked to our clients. I handle the daily head count, according to population, for our diet load sheets, snack load sheets, and special diet sheets. I am trained to do inventory, check large orders in upon truck delivery, and I am currently working on our Prima system to learn how to enter everything in to the computer, to bill our client properly. I have been trained to fill in for head supervisor upon her absence or scheduled vacation. I do quality control and we also do a food control to maintain our cost budget. I also have assisted with scheduling and payroll.
