Principal and Managing Partner

Established a private equity group consisting of Canadian and domestic partners to purchase a manufacturer of hose reels. Implemented as the Principal and Managing Partner, raising $22.5M in private equity and debt capital to purchase Gas Boy from Tokheim Corporation.

Directed the financing of $4.5M for the acquisition of Paducah Sheet Metal/Production.

Obtained SBA (7A) lending of $890K purchase of Ace Medical Supply.

Truck Engineering LTD, LLC, Fort Wayne, IN 2000 – 2005

President/Managing General Partner/Shareholder

Served as President/Managing General Partner/Shareholder as part of a limited investor group that acquired an 80-year-old custom fabricator of beds for dump trucks. Supplier for federal, state, and local agencies. Implemented quality standards and lean manufacturing metrics. Guaranteed a seven-figure note to the bank personally for the purchase of company assets.

Reduced by 40% warranty costs in five years, doubled sales, and established Lean Manufacturing systems for the company.
