Insurance Consultant January 2009 -Present

After leaving my previous employer Goodhealth, running the international health insurance program I left to become an International Insurance Consultant specializing in high net-worth individuals form Latin America. In my current capacity I work along-side international private money managers catering to their high net- worth clients. Offering all different types of insurance from health and life insurance to airplane and thoroughbred insurance. These clients are from Mexico to Argentina.

GoodHealth Insurance February 2004 – December 2008

After Aetna selling their individual health insurance program to GoodHealth part of the Primary Group; I was offered the same job opportunity with GoodHealth as I had with Aetna International. At this time, we moved all underwriting and policy services to Miami, Florida where I continued manage the marketing and distribution channels as well as taking on a new role. GoodHealth opened a full-service office in Miami to service the Latin America region, we would have 12 employees in this office.

Aetna International (Aetna / Generali) August 1996 – January 2004

Starting as field representative to expand the Aetna International insurance plans along with the Aetna / Generali pooling business in Latin America an area that had not been serviced in a reactionary way not a marketed action. After demonstrating that the big market opportunity was in the international individual health insurance market; I was tasked with creating a competitive plan along with a salesforce for distribution. Within the first 2 years I created a salesforce with 3 managing general agents and a salesforce of over 400 producers. In this time, I was responsible for training and marketing through our MGA’s. We would go onto develop and become one of the leading companies in the international health insurance marketplace throughout Latin America. Sometime in 2003 Aetna wanted to divest itself of the individual health insurance market and sold their portfolio to GoodHealth part of the Primary Group form England.
