Objective
I have been a Texas State Trooper for the Texas Department of Public Safety Highway Patrol for approximately twenty-eight years. I have worked as a State Police Officer performing police functions in various fields of study including criminal investigations. I have obtained a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Science degree in Criminal Justice with a minor emphasis in Business Law, as well as an associate degree in Criminal Justice. I have a working knowledge that deals with computers as well as the capabilities of learning different computer programs. I obtain all goals that I set for myself. I am a well-oriented and avid worker. All tasks given to me are carried out to their fullest extent. SENIOR TROOPER (CVE) TXDPS HIGHWAY PATROL FEBRUARY 1995 - PRESENT
I am assigned to the Texas Highway Patrol Division in Commercial Vehicle Enforcement (CVE). I have obtained over 5,000 hours of training and instruction from the TXDPS Law Enforcement Academy and I am a federally certified FMCSA CVE Inspector, including Bulk and Non-Bulk Hazardous Materials. My training includes various safety-oriented topics to ensure vehicle operations are complying with safety regulations. The main objective of my job is to patrol and perform official police duties dealing primarily with Commercial Vehicles and Roadside Inspections. During times of crisis, I can be deployed to any area of the state to provide security and protect the public, as necessary. Along with our Agency, I have worked closely with the FBI, DEA, Secret Service, U.S Border Patrol, and the U.S. Customs Service.

I was employed with Wal-Mart while attending college. Throughout the job my duties were to prevent loss of store property, secure/patrol the premises, monitor and upkeep closed circuit television cameras and maintain public relations.
