A Funny Way of Looking is both a show and a community, built around the shared values of curiosity, diversity, education, and personal growth; via conversations that explore diverse perspectives, we created a space for listeners to connect, expand their understanding of the world, and cultivate meaningful relationships. My role: Managed all aspects of branding, creative direction, and production for a weekly live talk show (3/week). Personally handled live streaming, talent booking, topic research, and content writing/ editing/ posting. Managed a team of designers/editors, approval of all media assets. Stewarded all digital “joining Kaiser'' front door marketing projects from conception through deployment, collaborating with line of business, product, design, marketing, and dev teams to help realize the company’s vision. Daily responsibilities: end-to-end product leadership, defining requirements/ goals/ user needs, stakeholder relations, presentations, scheduling, risk management, producing for content management system (CMS) publishing, architectural assessments of technology, daily stand-ups/SCRUM, creative/agile process creation and implementation, and managing all deliverables to development for deployment.

The Magic Grove

Founder / Executive Producer / Host 2020-2022

Founder of an earth-conscious community for people who use nature, divination tools and old magic to heal. Managed all levels of start-up, from initial vision to all aspects of production, talent booking, and courseware development. Producer and host of Tea & Magick, a weekly live talk show (within TMG), connecting transformational coaches and healers with a captive audience, searching for their next life guru.

The Geekie Awards

Founder / Executive Producer 2012-2015

Developed a live awards show from the ground up that received nearly one billion in media each year, to include acquiring .3m in funding, brand integration, full scale production of scripted video and live content for broadcast. As creative producer, I managed all areas of video and live event production, writing, design, social media, content creation, and sponsorships. Live broadcast on Twitch and Ustream.tv.

Microsoft (MSN)

Senior User Experience Designer / Writer 2004-2011

Designed and managed the MSN Publishing Platform for full-scale content development across all sites. Co-created intuitive experiences and products for MSN US and international markets that impacted millions of users, including the first-ever MSN Health & Fitness vertical and MSN Entertainment. Collaborated with agile development teams to create a proprietary CMS platform. Created MSN brand and editorial style guides.

Washington National Guard

Art Director 2001-2004

Spearheaded the National Guard’s e-learning program, including managing a creative team, driving product development, standards documentation, instructional packages and trade show materials. Managed a team of instructional designers and editors to develop content, using a CMS. Created company brand identity and style guide.
