Dear Hiring Manager/Recruiter,

My name is Vincent D’Amato, and I am interested in working for Northrop Grumman. The ideas created and brought to life by NG are important to the science and engineering industries, impacting our own military and other government agencies, as well as the rest of the world. I would like to be able to say that I am a part of this family making these impactful changes for the world.

For the last 13 years I worked as a Material Inventory Specialist at Solar Turbines in their shipping department. My job tasks were mostly related to shipping inventory control via the multiple computer systems used by Solar Turbines. I also was trained in the procedures of their receiving inventory control systems and have moved inventory from facility to facility as well as to and from storage areas requiring a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card. Prior to working for Solar Turbines, my past work history consists mostly of the use of different computer systems related to shipping and receiving, inventory control, use of various types of forklifts, and supervisor and dock foreman positions. I also have auto mechanic schooling with experience both professionally and personally and have even been responsible for assisting with DOT inspections and maintenance on school buses.

I feel that my recent work experience with Solar Turbines, along with years of mechanical experience, are more closely related to what Northrop Grumman may want for the positions I have applied for. I look forward to speaking with you and learning of any other available positions that you may feel my experience could be essential to.
