• Maintenance of accurate records in line with the Trusts Policy on documentation and to ensure clear and efficient written and verbal information is given at all times, including patient handovers.

• Involvement with nursing audit and reporting of same.

• Participation in initiatives to develop nursing practice and support change.

• Developing Managerial Skills.

In September (2019) of this year 9 South was awarded the Patient experience award for the best performing ward trust-wide and the best performing ward in the medicine division.

At St John’s and St Elizabeth I have recently being assigned the responsibility of managing new staff and students and the Stroke lead on the ward.
