Conduct daily routine checks on all welding activities if welding parameters in applicable WPS have been achieved, such as bevel tolerances, welding consumables type and size, welder qualification, welding equipment condition, pre-heating (if required) and inter-pass temperature requirement, electrical characteristics (amp- volts) welding speed, welding size, welding sequence as well as PWHT (if required).
Witnessing Hydro testing/Pneumatic test.
Preparation of NDT request and co-ordination with NDT sub-contractor.
Monitoring of welding activities of sub-contractors piping and welding works.
Carrying out the welding of joints and preparation of report.
Material list prior to Receiving Piping Isometrics and verification of Revisions, Preparing Fabrication.
Inspecting Material specifications based on the Isometric Drawing specification, verifying whether the joint fit-ups are prepared according to approved procedures.
Maintain Welding Records like WPS, PQR and Welder Revalidation Records etc. Knowledge Of Engineering Standards
