Project Description:

Institutional Banking Client Services (IBCS) team sits under Institutional Banking & Markets (IB&M) space. IBCS is responsible for the day to day servicing and maintenance of the transcational banking needs of clients across several major industry sectors. IBS’s support includes Origination,Maintenance and Closures of IB&M product solutions across Cash Management, Merchant and Corporate Card Solutions. Customers can connet with IBCS teams via a common group email account—ad3a90@r.postjobfree.com The group email account receives approximately 500 emails on daily basis. Based on the client type and query type, the emails are auto allocated to the relevant team members. The user logs into the pega application to read and reply the allocated emails.

Project Description:

To ensure PL is closed correctly our customers must pay the correct ‘Payout Figure’ (POF =Loan balance + accured interest/adjustments).Once the correct POF has been paid onto the loan,the loan can one of two processes:

1.Closure via HLS (internal refinance and write-offs only): Loans closed via this process must meet specific closure criteria, e.g. transcation codes linked to refinancing and writing off.

2.Closure via Personal Loan Maintenance (PLM) (all closure types excl. Those closed by HLS): This is a manual process dependent on legacy technology (including VBA macros) and does not identify /execute all closure attempts. Currently to run back-end closure and manual processes.

There is currently an open medium-rated issue (IS-081590), “Streamline the PL loan Closure”, whereby customers attempt to close their PL but it remains open. This includes situations where a cusomr pays their PL baance down to zero, but accrued interest and fees prevent the loan from closing. As a result interest and fees will continue to be charged on small residual balances until our customers contact our assisted channels to obtain a POF (or we run manual process to close).

Project Description:

Deal Register is a tool used by in life teams and execution which records all deals managed by PDM (Post Deal Management). It was Initially to support the deals made by IB&M Structured Asset finance team. An example of a Structured asset finance deal is if CBA owns a Plane and hires it out. These types of deals can contain both loan and leasing components, contain multiple counterparties and the trades are booked across multiple product/source system. Global Lending and Leasing team has also used the UDT to capture the other transcations coming to their team space, i.e. funds finance transactions and international offshore transcations. This database is used by is used by GLLMO team to register these deals and manage handover from Front office to close out the deal. It contains a list of milestones that the team can use to track until completed at which point the deal moves to In-life status.
