1. General Manager – Good Neighbors Ethiopia [ January 1, 2021 – up to date] – 3 Years.

As a General Manager my responsible is to Shaping the Work Environment, crafting a Strategic Vision, Marshalling Resources, Developing Star Performers, Organizational body building and Up and Running initiatives and programs in line with the mission and goal of the organization. I also invest in building relationships with both inside - outside stakeholders and partners at UN agencies, government officials, industries (Vendors), donors and other strategic partners within the same line of operation and also direct the six department Admin. and HR, Finance, Community Empowerment, Sponsorship and Communication, Business development department and IGA and Social Enterprise department heads in order to discharge their level best as per their department mandate in the organization. Assisting the country director on all program implementation particularly business development advises in order to expand the intervention area of Good Neighbors in the Ethiopia is the other major role I am performing on this position.

2. MEAL Manager and Program Department in charge in Good Neighbors Ethiopia Head Office, Addis Ababa from July 2017 – Up to date. – 3 years Main Responsibilities as MEAL Manager & Program in charge [Business Development, PROGRAM Management,

Administration and Leadership]:

As a MEAL Manager I am providing technical and methodological support to all the program teams. I guarantee the quality and the relevance of any monitoring activities and internal evaluations carried out on the mission of the organization, together with any recommendations and analysis provided and integration of any “cross-functional issues” (gender, child right, accountability, negative impact, community participation, disability inclusion, etc. Moreover, I Propose and develop sector-specific action plans, produce an overall analysis of the effect/impact of programs through monitoring and evaluations carried out by the MEAL service itself or by external assessors.

Ensure data collected is used to take the appropriate operational decisions and to meet any contractual commitments concerning the financial backers. Develop the capabilities of program teams in the areas of collection and analysis of data (method, formats etc.), indicator measurement, feedback and complaint mechanisms, and negative impact, implementation of monitoring and evaluation activities, data management (development of questionnaires for surveys, sampling, input method, extraction of useful data and interpretation) and integration of cross-functional issues, Support mission for program teams considering cross-functional issues (gender, do-no- harm,

Program Operational audits and assist administration and finance manager in planning capacity development and training of all staff, staff selection, recruitment, briefing and debriefing new team members, job descriptions, appraisals and relevant personnel management procedures. Provide technical and professional support to ensure quality and appropriateness of project intervention as well as ensuring sustainability.

Provide area specific input on Core Competency Strategies, Country Strategy and Plan of Action as a member of management and perform compliance function.

Prepare project implement plans, budgets and carry out diligent implementation of the project pertinent to the responsibility and manage the Field Operation budget economically.

Responsible for effective and efficient management of field activities consistent with project cycle management.

Provide leadership; promote professional working relationships, and encourage staff members to manage their specific interventions within goals and budget;

Ensure all project initiatives are implemented to achieve maximum impact as per the project objectives within the schedule and budget.

Ensure the program is implemented as per the agreement with the donor and the government, and that project activities are carried out to the highest standard.

Coordinate food aid provision of beneficiary children based on home-to-home visit findings.
