·Researched and prepared sales invoices for billing company clients, primarily the University of Miami Medical Division & its various clinics/buildings/locations throughout South Florida.

·National NNL Group specializes in construction, repair, remediation (mold, etc.), water removal or extraction, and other similar duties for UM and other clients/customers in South Florida.

·Used Excel, Simply, and other accounting/auditing programs, platforms, software to enter the data and ultimately produce the final sales invoices to be submitted to National’s clients.

·This was my first “official” accounting-related position since my time with the Florida Department of Revenue as a Tax Auditor (see below). I also did see, though not handle directly, AP records there as well.

·Assisting Davie City Building Department in entering online back records of various kinds – residential and commercial permits (names, types, permit #’s, & other relevant data), cash/credit receipts, and more.

·Using Excel & other computer programs to perform these daily duties; taking burdens off backs of managers & other personnel so they can focus on assisting public with building permit application process and other related duties, thus providing a valuable service to the city of Davie behind the scenes.

·This was my previous job and hopefully could translate into more permanent & higher level position eventually. It ended due to me completing most to all of my assigned tasks ahead of time!

·Worked alone in call center assisting Facilities Maintenance Division supervisors with port-wide maintenance problems of various kinds.

·Composed and issued work orders using AIM computer program/system to send to appropriate supervisor for each problem.

·Took great burden off backs of FMD supervisors so they could better focus on performing their core jobs/duties.

·Learned the AIM system quite well and received many compliments from FMD and other Port personnel, but the temporary job came to a sudden end due to budgetary constraints.

Technical Support (& Payable) Representative/Specialist – Shift4Shop/3DCart (Robert Half), Tamarac, FL

·Worked in call center assisting merchants nation/worldwide with their online stores/websites

·Worked in call center assisting regional banks nationwide with their online banking issues.

·Helped online banking customers get into/reenter their accounts when locked out for various reasons.

·After banks updated their computer systems, had many issues – my job was to help them overcome these problems.

·Went through several weeks of training for two different types of systems & account troubles, but the position suddenly ended due to a number of unexpected problems.

Field Enumerator – U.S. Census Bureau (U.S. Department of Commerce), South Florida (Broward, Naples)

·Went out into the field to help the US government count the residents of Broward County who didn’t respond to phone calls. Emails, & other methods of completing the census.

·Drove to various complexes, houses, buildings, etc., to gather data about the residents, most importantly the number of people living in each location (the status of the people was not a factor in our tasks).

·Was even recruited for a special assignment to travel to Naples, & assist the regional office there as they had fallen behind in their counts – what was to be simply a one-week stint turned into a 3-week adventure as the team was very efficient & was asked to stay on there for an extended period (even went through Tropical Storm Sally).

·When completed that September assignment, returned to Broward County to resume my counts here – those duties continued until the entire US Census came to its ultimately legal end in mid-October.

·During September & October, studied for & eventually easily passed the state exam to obtain my FL 215 Insurance License (Life/Health/Annuities) – officially started with BL on 10/21/19 (valid until 02/29/24).

·Began process of contacting potential clients to hopefully set up appointments, go meet with them in person, & eventually, ideally start the process of selling them some type of financial product for their future benefit.

·Faithfully went to the office most days or out into the field to find and/or recruit potential new customers/clients for our policies and other products.

·However, the commission-based compensation system & other issues led to me voluntarily leaving.
